Hello! I am Dylan, (pronouns, he/him/his) The Seahorse Doula! I started my birth work journey in the summer of 2016.

Since then, I have been working with families of all identities and backgrounds. I specialize in working with queer and trans folks, low-income people, Black, indigenous people of color, and other marginalized identities. I deeply care about centering equity, social justice, and using an anti-racism framework in my practice.

I am currently in a graduate program at the University of Washington, where I am working on my master’s in public health, in the community-orientated public health practice. I earned my bachleor’s of science in health education from San Francisco State University.

My professional background rests in sexual health education, reproductive health justice, and advocacy, and working in HIV/STI clinics.

My personal background, I am a transgender man. I was born and raised in San Diego California, lived in the bay area and briefly in Lawrence Kansas. I love sexual health and pleasure education, supporting my community, contribute to mutual aid efforts and making art.
