Hello everybody! I am now officially in Bowling Green Ohio! The journey was long, but my partner and I had a fun road trip. Now that we're officially settled in, I am so happy to release my website, and plunge head first into the doula profession! (Not that I wasn't before).

I've been networking like crazy even though I just got here. I went to a baby event that was designed for national breastfeeding week. Met a lot of awesome birth workers in my community. I went to a breastfeeding class and learned a lot. I've been resisting the temptation of walking up to pregnant folks everywhere! The birthing community here is very different, very religious which I am not used to coming from San Francisco. But At least I know that I am making a difference and making the midwest more inclusive and safer for trans/lgbqia families.

I am excited because next week I'll be meeting with the owner of Toledo Family Doulas! She is also queer fam, and that makes me very happy. There is another DTI doula coming to town, well in Detroit, and I am very excited to meet her! I hope these connections will help me become more established and meet families!
